Hire rules
Clear rules before you ride.
All licences must match the motorcycle requirements. LAMS bikes require an appropriate LAMS-eligible licence. Non-LAMS bikes require a suitable unrestricted motorcycle licence.

Weekend hireMinimum 2 days. Weekend hire cancellation notice is 1 week.
Single day hireWeekdays only. Cancellation notice is 2 days.
Weekly hireCancellation notice is 1 week.
Late return$50 per hour.
Fuel ruleReturn full or fuel is charged at $3/L plus a $15 fill charge.
Bond checksTolls, fines, fuel, damage, missing items and post-hire charges are checked before bond release.

Bond return timing: Security bonds are usually returned within 3 business days after the motorcycle is returned, once tolls, fines, fuel, late return fees, damage, missing items and other post-hire charges have been checked.

Do you have LAMS bikes?
Yes. The fleet includes LAMS-friendly bikes, subject to availability and rider approval.
Can I book instantly online?
Not at launch. Bookings are enquiry-led so licence type, rider experience, bond requirements and bike suitability can be checked first.
How does the security bond work?
A security bond is required before hire. Damage, late return, missing items or other costs may be deducted under the signed hire agreement.
Where can I pick up?
The listed pickup options are Banyo and Fernvale. Your exact pickup details are confirmed before booking approval.
Are you fully operating now?
Yes. Little Red Fox Moto is fully up and running and now taking motorcycle hire enquiries.

When is the security bond returned?
The security bond is usually returned within 3 business days after the motorcycle is returned. This allows time to check tolls, fines, fuel, late return fees, damage, missing items and any other post-hire charges before the bond is released.
What is the cancellation notice?
Single weekday hire requires 2 days notice. Weekend hire has a 2-day minimum and requires 1 week notice. Weekly hire also requires 1 week notice.
What happens if the bike is not returned full?
If the motorcycle is not returned full, fuel is charged at $3 per litre plus a $15 fill charge.
